House in Aguas Claras
This house is placed on a flat site with many pine trees and a distant view over a far sea, which is gained by raising its main floor above the existing ground level. It is a pavilion with a laminated wooden structure standing on a basement of reinforced concrete tinted to match the sandy earth of the place. Wooden beams and pillars were tinted in black, while wooden boards of partition walls were tinted in white. The main floor was to be accessible from the ground level by a wheelchair through ramps, becoming a distinctive feature of the basement.
