Luis Izquierdo W.

(Santiago, 1954). Achitect summa cum laude, Universidad Católica de Chile, 1980. In 1984 he founds, together with Antonia Lehmann, Izquierdo Lehmann Architects. He has designed several projects for different programs and clients, including agricultural services, educational, commercial, housing and office buildings, more than 80 houses, interior architecture, chairs, objects, and constructive systems. Many of this works have been published worldwide and presented in biennals, exhibitions and conferences in Santiago, Buenos Aires, Quito, Cartagena de Indias, Sao Paulo, Madrid, Tokio, Boston, and in the MoMA of New York.

He has been professor and member of the Academic Board of the Universidad Católica. His work has been honoured with several prizes including the National Architecture Award (2004). He has written extensively on architectural theory. His main texts are De ética y arquitecturaArquitectura y ciudadSobre la planta en arquitectura and Arquitectura y Negocios.

Antonia Lehmann S.B.

(Santiago, 1955). Achitect summa cum laude, Universidad Católica de Chile, 1982. After working with Christian de Groote, in 1984 she founds, together with Luis Izquierdo, Izquierdo Lehmann Architects.

She has designed around 40 houses, beside several projects for different programs and clients, including agricultural services, commercial, interior architecture and furniture objects. Many of this works have been published worldwide and presented in biennals, exhibitions and conferences in Santiago, Buenos Aires, Quito, Cartagena de Indias, Sao Paulo, Madrid, Tokio, Boston, and in the MoMA of New York.

She has been professor at the Universidad Católica and Andrés Bello. Her work has been honored with several prizes including the National Architecture Award (2004). In 2010 she was named Director of the Advisory Board for the Chilean New Urban Policy and since 2014 she is member of the National Committee for Urban development.

Cristián Izquierdo L.

(Santiago, 1982). Architect summa cum laude, Universidad Católica de Chile, 2009. MSc in AAD with honors, Columbia University, 2014.

Since 2008 he works as an independent architect in projects of different scales and programs, public and private. In 2012 he joins Izquierdo Lehmann Architect as a third partner.

His work has been exhibited, published and awarded in different media of Latin America, Europe, USA and Asia, including the House of the Year award (2017, Lujubiana), nominated to the MCHAP prize for the best work built in America (2016-2018), and chosen as Design Vanguard 2020 by Architectural Record Magazine. He has lectured in Chile, USA and Japan. He is professor in Practice of the Universidad Católica and writes theory and architectural critic in different media.

Borne in Santiago, 1982. Architect, Universidad Católica, 2010. He teaches at UC since 2015. Member of IL in 2011 y and since 2016.

Valeria Farfán Heins

Borne in Buenos Aires, 1985. Architect UBB, 2010. MARQ (c) PUC. She teaches at UC since 2017. Miembro of IL since 2017.

Francisco Saul Artigues

Borne in Santiago, 1989. Architect summa cum laude, Universidad Católica, 2016. He has taught at UC y UNAB. Member of IL since 2016.

 

Pablo José Irarrázaval Ureta

Borne in California, 1993. Architect MARQ UC summa cum laude, 2018. Member of IL since 2018.

Rosario Edwards Cosmelli

Borne in Santiago, 1993. Architect MPUR UC, summa cum laude, 2018. She has taught at UC. Member of IL since 2019.

Héctor Farrera

Borne in Tuxla, México, 1988. Architect ITESM Monterrey, 2011. Master in Urbanism IEUT UC, 2020. He teaches at the IEUT, UC. Member of IL since 2020.

Tatiana Logunova
