La Florida social housing

This is a project of 48 duplex apartments of approximately 57 m2, assembled in two 4-story blocks, plus a ground floor with 48 covered parking spaces. Each apartment, which is delivered as a rough work to be finished by their owners, has a double north-south orientation and consists of a living room, a kitchen, a laundry room and a dining room on the second floor, a staircase and two bedrooms with a bathroom on the second floor. 

The buildings are structured with walls and slabs of exposed reinforced concrete braced by steel diagonals in its longitudinal facades, in order to free the first floor from the discharge of transverse walls, to accommodate the total number of parking spaces. The two built bars form a common interior space from which the apartments are accessed.
